Alright first gotta say i havent posted heaps lately... and I am lovin the new layout/forum style. This ziltiod theme is cool.

I recently purchased Porcupine Tree's "Fear of a Blank Planet"
This album is freakin awesome eh?!
Comes with the whole album also in 5.1 on a dvd with a slide show that scrolls to the music, plus a FORTY!! 40 page booklet! in a nice mini box set style.
Though just holding the package isnt enough eh... the tunes be great porcupine tree examples. Fully demonstrates their sound to it's fullest.
A great step to follow on from DeadWing. IMO.
Love it.

Yeah, this album blows my mind. You kinda reach the end of the first listen and go "...wow, what the hell did i just listen to?" But in a good way. I still think IA is the best though....

I love the Album but the packaging is not very clever....it's not really easy to get the plastic sleeves in and out. But it definitely 'looks' great!

I agree with Ephel.
It's a great record, but the packaging is annoying, especially for a lazy bastard like myself.

sorry if i've been repeatative... anything good usually gets multiple mentions tho eh?

Full on.. those plastic sleeves are fuckin hard to get back in the cover.. but whats wrong with a little frustraion after such a mind numbing experience (in a good way) that is porcupine tree

I don't have a fancy one with a tricky cover... just the bog standard version. And yes, despite Biert's whining, I like this album a lot.

First time I've bought their music.

I'm just on my second listen, I really delayed getting this as I've been a bit 'off' PT over the last couple of months but I'm really enjoying this..that special edition was kindo f tempting, but weird boxes end up annoying me so I managed to resist
