I'll check it out.
For those non-Europeans here, the Eurovision song contest is a time when us Europeans get together and laugh at each others musical 'acts'.
The UK act this year is particularly soul destroying.

This is the contest that Lordi won last year, hence the Finnish setting this year.

Ireland automatically qualified for the final. Here's our entry:

I'll definately tune in for Apocalyptica, and I normally have a good laugh with my little sister taking the piss out of all the entrants. :D

We always watch because Terry Wogan's commentary is just so darned funny. And of course the voting is just bizarre.

I suggested having an online "Eurovision Party" in the devintownsend IRC channel but being a Saturday night people like biert go out and get pissed. :P

And yes the UK entry is just .... well .... words fail me.

They'll win, and there will be Apocalyptica Cola, Apocalyptica action figures, and a re-issue of Apocalyptica's latest CD and maybe even Apocalyptica: The Motion Picuture :O

Thats if they spend 5 hours dressing up in heavy costumes and make-up and proclaim themselves 'Monstars'

:? I always look forward to the Irish entry but that was awful! She looked and sounded like she was in desperate need of a trip to the loo.

Our guy's called Marty Whelan. And I think he's attempting to do what Terry Wogan does, but instead he makes me want to twist his arm very high behind his head. He just makes a fool of himself. GOD Ireland's entry was awful. All out of tune and disgusting. Had I known we were submitting shit like that I would've made an effort to have it stopped. She was one of those people whose mammy never had the heart to tell her how ear-splittingly out of tune her singing is.

I've got to admit.. that WAS bad. Ireland normally puts in good tune too.

Their first 2 albums were good. They actually finished their 3rd before they entered Eurovision but some how it sucked anyway.

The first few music videos are good, but if you look at every single one...its all the same scenario
