Akercocke - Antichrist "treasure hunt"

I don't know if many people here like Akercocke, but personally I loved their latest album, Words that go unspoken, deeds that go undone (see my signature :P ).
They're a progressive death/black metal band, a bit along the lines of Opeth maybe, relying on atmosphere and variation between heavier and more mellow parts. In Akercockes case spiced up with a dose of satanism and lesbianism :D

Well they've made a new album, Antichrist that will be released May 28.
Now they've done a pretty cool thing around the release of that new album, some kind of treasure hunt. If you go to the myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/akercockeantichrist, there's a blog with the first clue. Using that clue, you can find a new page with a new clue, and so on all the way till... I don't know what happens, I'm only on the third one now :P

Perhaps other member of the forums are interested in breaking the Antichrist code themselves, or helping me? :D

I'ma give this a go. I'll try by myself first. Might have to ask for help from you later, Biert. I dunno anything about their background so I might get stuck easily...

EDIT:
Yup, stuck on number two. Help? :?

I know. I've several different things open. Biographies, wikipedia, interviews.. I can't get the order right for the second clue. I know the book, the writer, the species and the name of the character...

Antichrist is a rather overused album name within the metal genre

I don't know, I've made it to the fourth one a couple of days ago but I haven't heard of it yet.

I'm only aware of Marylin Manson's Antichrist Superstar shit, an Antichrist by Destruction and an Antichrist by Gorgoroth. Who else has one?!

And I'm helping Leechmaster, but I'm equally useless. Linkage would be delightful though. I'll probably buy the album when it comes out anyway though. Lum Akercocke. The artwork of the goat/women inside WTGU,DTGU is very twisted and pagan and excellent.

I'm two clues ahead of that. :D I'm trying to figure out the Voltaire one at the moment...

Once again, the arrangement of the words catches me out. Humbug to it all...

If there are only two parts to the solution, how many times can you guess the order of the words and fail? ;)

I need the name of "Goat of Mendez and his incarnation as god of wisdom and magic"

I've drawn tons of different character names and connections from the info given, but can't find which bits are right... So I might have the two bits to the solution, but there in a jumbled mix of possibilities...

That's the clue I'm stuck on. D'you reckon it's alright to discuss it here? We appear to be the only two trying.
