First off, if Devin and/or Tracy sees this: Please stop reading, you'll find out what it's all about later.






Then, for all the fans and everyone else:
There are plenty of people on these forums whose lifes have been changed by Devins music. And we all know that a big change in his life is coming up now: Devin and Tracy are having a baby!
The topic where Tracy announced this showed that we are all very happy for them and we wish them all the best.
But I think we can do more than that. I think, this is the perfect occasion to show our appreciation for the hard work they both put in to bring the music to us.

So basically here is the deal: how about we do something for them? A gift, something creative, something usefull, something fun... Something to show our gratitude for what they have done for us in the past, and to show our support for what will happen in the future.

Post your thoughts! Are you in or out? Am I nuts or are we all nuts? Do you have any good ideas of what to do and how to achieve it? I'm sure there are plenty of creative people around here who have some crazy ideas. Any input is welcome!!

i think its a great idea! one idea i had would take a hell of a lot of trust... basicaly everyone up for thisPMs their address to one of the mods then one forumite designs a card and signs it with a message then tells that mod its done the mod gives them one address and they send it on...

this happens until everyone has signed it... adding more pages if needed. like i said a lot of trust and corrosponding to know you've got it and sent it, but it think it would be nice whaddya think?

Yep, and it would involve a lot of international shipping, you never know how long it will take for something in the mail to cross all necessary borders.

Maybe everyone can write their own card or note, and send it to one central place where it's put together into a nice book or something, and then shipped to Canada?

maybe a binder-y type thing that one person collates....everyone sends an a4 page or two to the collator, then that person sends it in.

Instead of everybody sending stuff to go to a binder, what about a scrap book? Scrap books tend to be a little prettier/classier? I'd be so down for this:D

My idea I had was for everyone to maybe try and incorporate a smily face into their message (seeing as between us, we owe Tracy a lot of those)

Of course there will but I think we don't have to hurry up too much with this. Let's do it properly.
