I agree with both points.... There is a 3rd series of Spaced written apparently, it just might never get made. Edgar Wright, Pegg and co. might make another film though, which is most welcome.

Top Gear deserves a mention here.....Makes me laugh anyway.

I watched both series over two days when off work sick - it was almost worth feeling like shit to get such a concentrated hit of that. Loved the "Raving to the kitchen noises" skit - so funny.

I know the comment makes cliches sound fresh but "Fawlty Towers Third Law" really should be applied to any new series looking to be made.

They only made a few episodes but they were so on the money and people still quote from them and hold them in high regard. Trying for a sixth series or a further merch line is just diluting things.

Get in, do it damn well, get out and do something fresh again.

I fuckin' loved the first two series of Little Britain but the third has really soured the milk. Maybe I'm being too harsh but, well, there it is.

Garth Merenghis 'Dark Place' is the most underated british comedy. The show is genius absolute comedy gold!

Also another series of spaced would be well recieved however i dont know how it will go. If you have the complete series 1+2 on the extras disk right at the end of the making of there is a hint where it might go......

Also "Bottom" was an excellent series, and the kind of predecessor "The Young Ones" excellent british comedy. Especially The Young Ones episode 1 with Motorhead... the most complaints that the BBC have ever had aparently.

I noticed recently that "Nathan Barley", the most recent thing he's been involved in, got a right slating first time round. Now it's on it's repeat run and people are saying "Well, maybe he was spot on after all".

The radio version of Blue Jam was the scariest thing ever - I have all 14hours on a CD somewhere. Lizards in TV's ? Toddler hit-men ? Babies fitted with copper pipes ?

All there and all straight A's

TV version of Jam was also kinda scary...but still funny....Nathan Barley is ok but I still don't think its a patch on his past work.
