c'mon man, Zeppelin is the greatest ever, it shouldn't even be a contest! ? !
Well maybe a few votes for my buddy jon bon jovi :D
Zeppelin is simply the greatest, they were amazing then and now, to think that i'm impressed to this day by them, who recorded like 30 years ago! Its crazy. If you ever saw the double disc live dvd you'd be blown away, especially by bonham's 20 minute moby dick drum solo. simply amazing.

What?!!! Man, I love AC/DC. Excellent riff (they have been trawling out the same one for years  ), witty lyrics and no less than two of the greatest singers ever! Which one did you not like? Bon Scott was definitely the better lyricist and one of the greatest front men ever, while Brian Johnson could hit some incredible notes. Just listen to "For Those About To Rock" or "Thunder". OK, most of the 80s were shit, but the 70s and 90s stuff was fantastic. Check out all of the Bon Scott era (especially the live stuff, High Voltage and Powerage) and Back In Black, For Those About To Rock, Razors Edge, Ballbreaker and Stiff Upper Lip with Brian Johnson.

Plus, they had a guy wearing a school uniform! How rock is that?!

Its a tough one though, Queen, Thin Lizzy and (DLR) Van Halen just lost out to Acca Dacca. Maybe another day boys.

BTW tried to do italics in the title, but it didn't work. Could a moderator take them out, cause it won't let me.

Christina Aguilera models herself on the man Sneider. Not heard much TS but they did get namechecked in Flight Of The Navigator.

Martin Clunes, Ralf Little and that blonde bird he used to go out with all got namechecked in the liner notes of Napalm Death's 'Enemy Of The Music Business'

which was odd.

I thought about it...

"That ain't workin',
That's the way you do it,
You play your geetar on your MTV,
That ain't workin'
That's the way you do it,
Money for nothing and your chicks for free"

Ah, rock & roll.
