England is the sixth most crowded major country in the world, part due to mass immigration, a report found yesterday.

The research, by Migration Watch UK, also found that more than 90 per cent of immigrants in the UK live in England.

The group's chairman Sir Andrew Green said: "The immigration lobby like to talk about the UK, obscuring the fact that England is six times as crowded as Scotland.

Don't get me wrong, this is not a dig at cities. Urban life definitely has it's own unique style, and if you like being in a city that's cool. It's the nature of what *they* have decided a city must consist of, the array of foreign cultures and peoples that I disagree with. Or more specifically, the amount of them. It's a joke.

When I go to London as an Englishman and actually have trouble finding another Englishman, now that is something to be sad about surely? And it's the same problem the western world over.

Well think about it like this.

If you went to a major city in China, you expect to find Chinese people doing Chinese things am I right? Would you not be disappointed if you found the majority of the people there were a bunch of average white westerners, dressed like westerners, speaking English, selling french fries, burgers, listening to lady gaga, driving American cars, playing games of baseball etc etc?

With that in mind, when a Chinese person comes to a major European city.... I should think they want to see European-looking people, doing traditionally European-type things. And that is fast disappearing.

But why is that a problem?

Yorkshire has one of the biggest migrant populisations per city in the county in the country, but who gives a toss? The vast majority actually contribute more to the local economy, culture and workforce...So who really gives a shit? Not me.

EDIT: Thinking about it, a huge quantity of the things we eat/produce/do here aren't actually originally British/English at all. I'm sure you're aware that this country is a 'cultural butterfly', taking and using elements from other cultures and twisting them to fit into our lifestyles and pallete. As far as economy goes, there's only a small percentage of migrants who tend to give others a bad name by abusing the benefits system, whereas a fucktonne of them actually contribute significantly to the UK economy.

As far as I see it, as long as you're a law-abiding citizen I don't really mind.

I do kind of get the point of feeling a bit of a foreigner in your own city, but there are plenty of people who come here and completely adapt to the culture and way of life. Sure some don't, but as long as they're not expecting me to adjust my way of life to suit them it doesn't bother me. There's a few nutjobs around who I've probably thought 'if you've got such a problem with how things are here, fuck off back wherever you were before', but they are few and I don't come across them very often.
