Is anyone else into Hardcore? If this is a repeat thread please delete this.

I don't know to many bands but I like some Grind and PV

Hatebreed are the only hardcore band I really like.
Grindcore is more my preference, or hatecore (eg. Damaged).

Napalm Death are pretty good. Anything else ending with -core doesn't do it for me.

Napalm Death and Nasum are my absolute favorites. I enjoy Grindcore and Crust a whole damn lot! If you do a bit of research you'll find a thread that I opened a few months back that deals with that topic and there's some pretty good music suggestions in there too. :)

If someone asked me to name a "hardcore" band, I couldn't. I'm not very good with genres. Too many to keep track of, so I don't.
I'd name a band I thought might be hardcore, and someone else would tell me they're actually "blackened death thrash lobstercore djenty-post rock with a twist".

I get lost with them all too. However, I have a fond wish for someone to come up with fairycore.

Categorizing bands these days are so hard. Back in the 70s you had rock. In the 80s, you had rock and metal and punk. In the 90s...shit got out of control. Haha. Of course, that's because of the Internet mainly. We're just so exposed to every kind of music these days, whereas in the past the mainstream sort of dictated everything that we heard.
