Buuuuuuuuuuuut, the next morning i came to, and with a powerful hangover, realized that instead of being a retard and ordering a book to send unsolicited to a relative who probably doesn't want to quit anyway, i should have probably ordered a book of the sort that dealt with drinking, and intended it for myself. durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :|

Excellent.

I actually haven't drank since then...so maybe there was some good that came of it

Really? :O Nice! What's the picture quality like? Didn't really find a straight answer on that one, only its ruggedness.

I'm not an expert by any means, but I am very impressed with the build and image quality. We use them during intertidal mud surveys (very dirty work) and in combination with a wifi SD card to upload to a GPS. Our one also has the macro/microscope face mount thing which is really neat for looking at beasties. I've always wanted one for myself but they are too expensive for me to just arse around with.

I have a very cheap basic Kodak waterproof one for taking biking instead, and its not very good. Ho hum!

PS: Ours are probably last years model now that I mention it, and they are a funky pink/purple.

Yeah the purple one is WG-1, this one is WG-2. I don't think there's much difference apart from that they actually put a CMOS sensor in the WG-2.
Also bought this a few hours ago:
