So I assume you got yourself a nice modified BD player? :D Does it work well? What about the warranty? And does updating it still work properly? And are the balls of a wombat as hairy as the rest of its body?

I'll get that Sony one we talked about. It is ready to play out of the box and the warranty is still valid (they do offer extended ones as well).
I got these via amazon because the LOTR box is half the price that the shops here will charge (and they're all bleating about how online trading is killing them, duh...) and Deadwood ain't out here on BD at all; with no plans in the works to release a locally zoned version.

And the wombat's undercarriage drags on the ground. Best hair-removal system in the Animal Kingdom. You can see in my pic how impressed I am with the results. :D

This. One of the reasons why I'd like to get a region free player too. That and several of the Criterion releases such as '12 angry men'. Or Lionsgate's US BD release of Evil Dead 2, etc.

6 cans of dry shampoo for the price of 2 (or 1 if you are Norwegian). I reckon this should get me through the many early mornings of this summer.

(why yes I do shower.. it's just that my hair goes greasy 5 hours after washing it)

This is how I survived Devember, people!

Micro - Michael Chrichton's last book, co-written by Richard Preston. Saw it while I was browsing the local bookshop and thought "Oh, what the hell."

I'm fairly familiar with most of SW's more avant-garde stuff so I think this will grow on me.

Listened to this often enough - only fair I bought one. :)

And of course,

Any album that I can ride 33 miles to, is worth every penny. 8)

Niiiiiiice. I'll wait until I've heard Storm Corrosion, but I applaud these others.

My ritual is-

Oil treatment (Olive oil works, I have friends who use mayonnaise but...man that's food.)
Get hair really really wet
Shampoo TWICE, needs to be literally squeaky clean
Condition, not loads, focus on the ends
Pea-sized amount of serum while it's still wet

Makes it nice and shiny and ungreasy and very easy to style (remember, I got over 7 years worth of hair on my head that used to be bleached white), if you wash your hair too much it will very quickly get greasy through self defence, every two-three days is fine. Prolonged used of dry shampoo will just exacerbate a greasy hair issue cause it just soaks up excess oil and adds to the build-up in your hair.

Also, cause your hair is so short, you probably don't even need to condition. Natural oils from your hair will treat the first 4-5inches of hair. :)

...Meanwhile I will just spray my hair ungreasy and make things easy for myself. :D

@Amber: Yeah, that's true. :P I actually don't use conditioner at all. No need to. xD

It doesn't fix the problem though, either you're washing your hair too often (which makes the sebaceous glands go into overdrive) or not thoroughly enough which will make it feel greasy very soon after washing. Spray in shampoo is exactly the same as powdering a shiny face. It stops it looking greasy but the grease is still there, except there's now a powder fixed to it to make it look more matte but it's actually now even more dirty. Amber and I both have almost identical routines and they work a charm.

I also believe in taking care of myself with a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

I really don't care that much about my hair.
If dry shampoo kills it, I'll just shave it all off.
People will think I have cancer and I get cancer perks.
