Continued my purchases with Hobo With a Shotgun, Hellboy director's cut (BD)
Bronson (DVD)
GTA IV & Liberty City Episodes.
Craft - Void
Novembers Doom - Of Sculptured Ivy and Stone Flowers
Saving Army of Darkness for my next paycheck. They really should release a special Blu-Ray for Evil Dead 2.

I tested it on a satsuma, it was badass. I've been put incharge of making the yule log this year after my bro in-law made such a polava last year insisting to do it (ganache is not supposed to be rock-solid and chocolate sponge is not supposed to be beige.) so it's gonna taste fit and look like Elton John sneezed on it.

Lionsgate just released a 25th anniversary Blu-ray with awesome picture quality compared to all previous releases. So far so good. They released it in the US only though and it's region locked. Sucks that you're in Australia now, huh? :P  I feel your pain though. I'm thinking about importing a cheap American Blu-ray player to be able to play all the region locked movies. Don't wanna buy a laptop with Blu-ray drive just for that.

today I bought:

Rise of the planet of the apes Blu-ray
The Ninth Gate Blu-ray (yes, I know Polanski is a prick but it's one of my favorite movies)

I wouldn't sell and upgrade too soon, a lot of people do that and find they've forked out a fuckton when their previous camera did everything they needed it to do. Best thing to do is invest in decent lenses that do what you'd like to do that you current ones cannot do and get as best as you can with what you got. A cheaper body with a good lens will have a better result than an expensive body with a cheaper lens, but both will be bollox unless you can use them properly. I've also found that when I changed cameras (I've had four SLRs), it took me quite a while to get to grips with the new one each time, so just keep practicing! And most importantly INSURE THE FUCKING THING.

BUY ME AN FX THEN

I think I'll sell my D3000 and save up for a D7000

Eh, the DX'll do you you just fine on a simpler camera. I have a D5000 myself, friend got a D7000, that thing is awesome. Definitely looking to upgrade. And get a lens like that one. And an external flash kit. And a telephoto lens.

WHY MUST I SELECT EXPENSIVE HOBBIES.

You'd probably wanna stab me if I told you how much I've spent on camera gear over the years.

Nintendo Monopoly, in the hope that when I move I might have housemates that will play with me.

And a mousemat! One that doesn't slide, or peel at the edges! Best three-fiddy I've spent in a long time.
