THREE guys from the Download Festival forum (unfortunately within easy reach, so not like...another city) have been making advances towards me.

Just found out an "accident" happened here in holland, people were celebrating Queensday (a national holiday) and someone crashed his car into the crowd, at this point 2 people are confirmed dead and 23 others are wounded. the car crashed into the crowd at the same time the queen passed the crowd in a van..i hope this really is an accident but it has assassination attempt written all over it

I just saw the same thing (about an hour ago on the news, I was busy this morning). I'm shocked! What the fuck is wrong with people!? This day is supposed to be one giant party, there's no shit about politics or whatever issues involved, and this person feels the need to drive through the fencing and a large crowd to get to the royal family...

The program had a 20-minute delay, yet the guy was right there when the bus with the royal family turned the corner... this is no accident. The guy who did this is now in the hospital, I hope they operate on him without anesthetics.


Oh, and the swine flu has also been confirmed here in The Netherlands. Wonderful fucking day.

At this point all we can do is guess what happened, there will be an official police report at 3:45 PM

During the world cup 98 celebration I think, in Paris, someone rammed his car in the crowd, the guy had some psychic problem, paranoid or schizoid or something, so he panicked being stuck in the crowd.
Well it doesn't matter for the consequences, it's just a more tolerable explanation.

Actually i was expecting something like that, and on tv they just said the guy had physic problems, he just got fired and was kicked out of his house or something..
at this point its kind of hard to understand why this happened with everyone having a different story..
