The Threat Signal was only 4 bucks, wouldn't have gotten it otherwise. And the Mnemic album has been on my wishlist (and MP3 player) for 2.5 years so it was about time :P

Mnemic's Passenger album is absolutely unbelievable. I've listened to it probably every single week for 2.5 years! I would now rate it as one of my all time favourite albums! By ANYONE, ever. Big call I know, but it definitely is. It's got absolutely everything I look for in a Metal album plus more: the musicianship and production are stunning beyond belief. The songs are about as catchy and groovin' as is possible in pretty extreme Metal. Almost every vocal and guitar line and groove on the album is a hook. But at the same time it's ball tearingly heavy. An album that is chock full of melody but rips your head off at once. CANNOT WAIT for their next one....

I have to say, Passenger is the weakest Mnemic album to me. The Audio Injected Soul is so much better. I hate how they tried to jump on the "lets tune low" bandwagon and pulled a total Meshuggah rip off at some points.

They were better, Guillaume kind of didnt fit in my opinion.

I love "Passenger", but I think you're right about the fit. He seems more organically meshed in One Way Mirror.

Yea. I love him in One Way Mirror. But I just honestly think that as good as Passenger can be, it doesn't live up to what The Audio Injected Soul did.

Just bought one of those software programs to follow my diet, calorie intake and overall weight. I am tired of keeping it in my logbook and now I can have the graph generated by itself. :)

Ahhh cool!!! BLAST! I have to wait for what's going to feel like a long time, I suppose I can tide myself over with some Mariusz in the meantime. 8)
When you get it, tell me how it is, tell me about it. I'm curious. I watched this two-part interview on youtube with Mariusz, and he talked a little bit about it. It reminded me of the FoaBP message, but a little different focus... the concept is good, interesting. I like when people older than me observe the flaws and horrible changes of younger generations - I really do! Makes you think, and open your eyes a bit.

I have it :P And it's awesome! I've had the leak for a few weeks though so I was already familiar with it. Yet to see the DVD, but that gig was in Amsterdam so it should be good too :D

Hey! Fuck you! I have the will-power to wait!
The real reason is, I'm not cool enough to track down leaks even if I wanted to; plus with a CD, you can always ensure good sound quality! :D I don't want some random guy's sloppy-leak-seconds.
