Being endlessly amused by Prexy's above-pictured cat, who is attacking the laptop in between chasing dust particles about the room. :D

You have no idea. I feel like I'm five again. My parents give me inconceivable amounts of shit about having a cat and will try to kill her if ever the opportunity arises, but I keep my door locked when I go out. I just wish I'd gotten a cat sooner. But really, I don't; because then she wouldn't be Lucy.

GuyOne wrote:well didn't get our kitten yesterday because the paperwork at the animal shelter wasn't ready but we get it today apparently.

It is 2 months old and looks like yours but more white than black.

Sorry to hear about that situation, hopefully you'll have a lovely kitten as soon as possible! Lucy is three and a bit months old, the owner was a dumb shit who didn't know her birthday or gender when she handed her over. She also told me that she kept her in a shed and was feeding her milk, even though she said she was about eight and a bit weeks and should've been weaned to some extent; and even though cats are intolerant of lactose. She had constant diarrhoea for the first three days, and it turned out she was well able to eat solids the on the very first day that I got her.

But she also told me that she had fourteen cats. That qualifies her as a crazy cat lady so I wouldn't really listen to anything she said about cats anyway.

It's now two am. Going to get milk and chocolate and then proceed to read Lord of the Rings until I pass out.

No responsibilities at all before september. Life is fantastic :D

You are one lucky person. I just got my social life stolen right out from under me because of my job.

When I do that I always grind my teeth. It's horrible when I wake up. :?

Now, I shall either read or maybe watch a documentary on Jack the Ripper that I stumbled upon last night. Dunno. Or I might sleep. I'm bloody exhausted.

Learning to play the song "Disavow your God" by Gorod. This should be a decent challenge. No crazy solos, just a crazy tapping section that lasts about a minute 30 or so.

Lucky. If I had a vehicle and gas money I would tread the 3 hours down there and join you.
