wait, you're telling us what NOLA is when there's this album by an enigmatic intimidatingly-named band "Capharnaum" in the same post?

 I have a really bad gauge of how well known certain bands are. I knew of Capharnaum (A Floridian tech death band led by Jason Suecof featuring Daniel Mongrain on lead guitar, for those that don't know about them) before I knew about Down, so maybe that's why I thought to put an explanation of what Down is.

Creative Zen V Plus 4 gb. STAY AWAY at all costs. Can't even copy music to the fucking brick without it crashing explorer... and even then it only copies one or two of the songs if I'm lucky. Thing is useless as a very pretty, expensive bar of soap.

That is quite a unique feature for an MP3 player :P

Is it really supposed to work as a USB drive? Not with Windows Play For Sure or some Creative alternative for that? Have you tried using an alternative for Window Explorer, such as Total Commander?

Well, I had heard that this one let you copy files via explorer, which was one of the reasons I got it.
But yes, I just tried installing the software, and it almost kind of SORT of works...! Good news is that I finally have some music on the thing. Bad news is that I can only copy about 200 megs worth before it tells me I'm out of space. Woo. Plus there are a million little things about the software that are broken... the close button on their shiny custom installer (grr) doesn't even work, at all. It's weird, I shouldn't get the vibe that I was shipped a broken product with unfinished software. I feel like an unlucky beta tester or something, except I had to pay for it.

EDIT: No, no, nevermind--
Bad news is that I can only copy about 200 megs worth before it tells me I'm out of space.
...That's actually inaccurate. It's a percentage. If you're copying 10 songs it'll only copy 2 or 3 of them. This thing is fucking useless and I am so goddamn angry right now. The ebay store I bought it from has a no returns policy, too. ANGER. Is it too much to ask to have a WORKING mp3 player for once? Really? :chain:

EDIT 2: Okay, truce with the little electronic bar of musical soap. Got it (mostly) working with my netbook, but no other PC. Spending all night copying my music collection over to the laptop. On the plus side, I wrote some wicked killer riffs while I was totally pissed off at this thing. :|
