They were much better with Bon Scott. I just dont like ACDC to be honest. No diss meant by it!

Ohhh yea. I grew up listening to ACDC so there is an amount of respect there...just compared to the music now I find them slightly boring lol.

Maybe 'cause I have so many memories associated with so much old shit, I can go back and forth between old school and new without feeling either 'bored' with old music or 'freaked out' or overwhelmed by new.I'm old,but metal keeps me new

I just think the music I listen to has progressed far beyond the music of yesterday(except for the likes of Rush and King Crimson...they were really ahead of their time and still entertain me.)

Oh, it has. No doubt about it. That's why I still love metal :chain:
There are still so many old bands, usually lesser known that have un recognised depth. Like Edgar Winters Group, Budgie,The Lies, Uriah Heep,etc. I'm glad some of the kids still follow. Not like when we were kids.Most of us could care less about old shit. so much great old so much awsome new. fuckin love it......
