I've got a pair of Bose on-ear headphones, and they DO sound amazing.

I thought about the around ear phones because they were only $139, but I kind of wanted these smaller ones for my ipod and all that, plus they are so damn comfortable you dont even notice they are there!

I have to have decent bass response. Earbuds are great for what they do, but over on on-ear headphones are where it's at for home or travel listening. For iPod/workout listening, I just use the stock earbuds that came with the iPod. Works just fine for me.

Yea, the ones that came with it are pretty good. But the Bose ones do have impressive bass response for earbuds.
