Samsungs are all open so you can buy them in Norway and use them in England as well with a different SIM. The Galaxy S2 is now going to drop a lot in price because of the S3 release, you can probably get it for less than 3.5k in Norway without a contract. Or for 1 NOK with contract. You also have the Galaxy W which is very similar but not so fancy. The new HTC One series are also all open and come with Android 4 out of the box, ranging from cheapest to most expensive; One V, One S, One X. They're all pretty awesome if you ask me. The One S is incredibly secksy with the paperthin body and Super-AMOLED screen. Also, Beats audio omfgwtf.

Poke me on face if you want more info lelelelel?

You reckon the Galaxy Nexus one will drop in price as well? :3
Every time I do a phone comparison, that's always the one I land on. Then again, I don't know what I am looking for other than "Oh, big screen resolution and Android 4! Do liek." :P

Well almost every phone that was released in 2011 and every phone released after March ish this year will have Android 4 so that's no issue. I don't think you'd want the Nexus, unless you're looking for one that's abit different from the others and also very buggy. It's supposed to be the first phone in line to get updates but I'm still walking around with 4.0.2 when everyone else has 4.0.4. Google, Samsung nor Telenor can answer me on when it's getting an update. And the phone is going to be disappearing from the market due to its price, too expensive to make and not a big enough market for it. Lelele.

Just did the Walk of Life! 15 miles around my county of Leicester. The weather's been absolutely perfect for once, and some of the scenery has been beautiful. Who knew? My girlfriend suffered a while towards the end, but I seem to be okay. We'll see how my feet fare on the walk to work tomorrow, I guess. Got a little medal for it and everything. Having a well-earned pint and a steak now before heading home for a cool shower. Now I can start hassling people for their sponsor money. Got at least

Ah.. no Nexus then. :P So, we're down to HTC One V, Samsung Galaxy W or Samsung Galaxy S II (and HTC One S if I can get it cheap-ish). Tricky. And what about Xperia phones? I'll admit I'm a bit biased towards Samsung and HTC.

The new Xperia S is nice (has awesomepants camera but it doesn't have out of the box Android 4) with shiny lights etc. Abit thicker and heavier than the other ones. I think it would be a waste of money to get the W when the S2 will be only a few hundred NOKs away. Let me give you a plan; the S3 is released on Tuesday officially, check out the prices on the S2 in about a week or two and see what they're like. And the prices of the One S. I've seen a few nasty faults with the S2 but the Koreans have fixed 95% of the phones they've released since February. Tbh the One S looks way more attractive to me now than the S2. :>

Hm, phones. My old nokia is dying, so what would be a nice phone with a long battery life sufficient to survive 3-4 day festival trips? Doesn't have to be a super smartypants phone, but should have a web browser at least.

If you avoid doing any internetting while you're at the festival and keep it only for contacting folk you're meeting up with etc. That alone will sort your battery life. Why the fook do people even NEED internet at a festival?! It's supposed to be a get away from shit like that!

Awesome- It's sunny as fuck and I'm going up to town today.

Well no Android at least :D Or you could get a Samsung and buy an extra battery for it, lelelel. I did that with the S2. :)
