Having one of those office days where I am becoming more sympathetic to tyranny than to diplomacy.

Commence vent:
If you cannot do a simple thing after I have asked you to, and made it perfectly clear what was required, and worse, you take two steps back (figuratively), and you do this all the damn time, do not be surprised when I get frustrated with you. If you were in my position, you would probably do the same and be right.

No wonder I've never been a manager - people view me as borderline Hitler in my current position. Well, if they cannot do their jobs correctly, they should not be surprised when I call them on it.

Thankfully tomorrow is my day off. I'll need it.

My 12 year old sister wrote a suicide note in class today. Her teacher found out when she started crying at her desk.
When my stepfather (her biological) came to pick her up, he told her off for writing something like that in school, dropped her at the nearest station so she could go meet our mother at work, and drove off home (probably to get stoned in front of the TV).

One of my other sisters eventually got involved upon request, and now child services are assessing whether her parents' house is the best place to live. My mother is cooperating fully; I don't know about shithead, but I'm guessing he's going to try and shift the blame elsewhere.

Said sister who got involved called me today to notify me. I'm going to visit the youngest Saturday to give my support.

2:40am and we've barely slept as little man has a fever and has been waking intermittently so he can have a big ol' cry. Paracetamol helping to keep the temp down and he's just fallen asleep so I'll try to get some sleep while I can.

My father, who had been drinking took 60 pain pills and went for a drive today in a suicide attempt. A miracle happened, he threw up the pills, came home, the cops evaluated him and all is shaky, but well. Bad day, but I'm thankful everything is okay.

God damn. I hope he's ok now and can get better from all that.

Also JuZ, I hope your son gets better soon, too.
