Seeing an annular solar eclipse in an hour and a half. Always wanted to see an eclipse, and apparently Albuquerque is the best place to view this one in the world. Lucked out on that one.

Other awesome things to be discussed later after this hell that is moving my girlfriend out of her apartment ceases...

Just back from Stewart Lee. My face still hurts from laughing nearly two hours after the show... I was crying for half of it, I'd say. Best stand up I've seen in yeeeeeeears.

He's a really nice guy! We were chatting to him after the show for a little while. It was a weird show cos there was a fair few empty seats in a theatre that's way too big for a show like that, and there were noticeable pockets of people who didn't get the jokes and links between them and he spent so much time taking the piss out of that. I just love how he deconstructs the stand-up he's doing while he's doing it. He hasn't been here for 12 years but he said he's gonna try and get back whenever he plays Ireland. He was on for over two hours as well so overall it was a really excellent night...

And the aforementioned awesome things:

Last week, seeing both Roger Waters and Rammstein. Already discussed Roger Waters a bit, so Rammstein: ridiculously awesome. And ridiculously ridiculous. That has to be one of the funnest shows I've ever been to. Fire and explosions galore. I approve.

There's a Moog synthesizer on google frontpage today. Working, with functional control panel and a little reel to reel tape deck to record your sounds to. It's fucking beautiful.

Competing in my first race this sunday, which is very exciting. If it goes well, then that is just plain awesome. In the event that I pass out or require medical attention, see the just plain un-awesome thread next week for an update :)
