It was looking pretty goddamn bad (and part of the reason why I've not really been around, forum restoration aside).

It hasn't spread and it's not true lung cancer, so he has a fighting chance, and you have no idea how happy that makes me. 25 years old with terminal cancer is not something that is fair to him. Especially since he's already lost his mom and dad.

Sorry to hear that, Cody... Trying to be positive and supportive when someone's going through that can be pretty tasking stuff. My aunt's been in and out of hospital for the past two months have surgeries to try and get rid of tumours and pre-cancerous cells that keep popping up as well. It's exhausting even just hearing about it. Life has a wonderful habit of shitting on the ones that deserve it least, eh? Hope your mate pulls through alright in the end.

Thank you. The good news has really strengthened his resolve, so I have high hopes.

Best of luck to Dante (wut an awesome name), Mr. Codex.
What treatments are they undertaking/considering?

And Mark, best wishes to your Aunt. You're right, TANJ. (<- for non-Larry Niven afficionados: "There Ain't No Justice").

Fairly intense Chemotherapy. He's honestly in decent health (if not great shape) otherwise, and so it's been determined that the best course of operation is to just attack, attack, attack and hope for the best.

First time any of my new garden-izens have experienced rainfall.

Hopefully my flat will feel less like a sauna now, at least for the next week. Still might keep my windows open.
