You Brits and your love of things that are hilariously not the market leaders (Archos, BlackBerry, Opera, etc.)

Commonly known as being awesome.
Except BlackBerry. That's where the line gets drawn, sorry Vi.

I have you know I was telling Mike before the Anathema gig how durable my Blackberry was, so I demonstrated by chucking it on the floor...and accidentally lobbed it across The Koko. BUT IT SURVIVED!

I have a Blackberry actually - It was sent to me by Vodafone hen my contract renewed. I don't know how to do anything but phone and text on it, but it has stopped a .22 bullet which would otherwise have struck me, and despite the lower half of the screen being borked, it still works fine.

WHOA! You need to archive that shit! Blackberry might be pleased to know that in addition to helping people stay connected, it can save lives, stopping one .22 bullet at a time!

My ISP is un-awesome. They've screwed up my bills for several months in a row, never send them on time, the service is slowish and the customer service has been pitiful at best.

Just going through the motions of signing up with Internode now and if it all works I will very much enjoy telling my old ISP to go fuck themselves.

So my mum's friend's daughter with anorexia who I thought was gonna be dead by Christmas got pregnant. 29 weeks and a dangerously fast delivery later; the baby is on death's door at the hospital nextdoor to my house. I've offered to let the girl stay here for the time being so she doesn't have the 30 minute commute there and back, although to be honest I'd rather not be involved...blargh.

Just spent the day at my aunt's family's cottage with their neighbours and family. It was generally reeeally nice, an 50% of me had a bath in the lake. The un-awesome part however... my grandmother. She had no idea who me and my sister were. Well... she knows that we are her granddaughters, but she thought we were the four-year old girls running around. I was also told she just had a brain scan of some sort. The doctor had never seen anything like it and was shocked that she could function at all.

On top of that... I just got an email from my former flatmate.... demanding a shitton of money for all kinds of stuff. Ass hole.
