Can I join in by losing a midget? :D While I've been working my arse off (literally), I didn't really notice the difference until I had to replace all my belts because the smallest notch was still too big B) And I'm starting to fit jeans from my teens! FUN TIMES.

i woke up way to early today ad for some reason i couldn't stop thinking about bikes. soooo...

Image

originally, this was for my mom so she could have something to ride before we found her a nicer bike. i pulled it out of the bicycle graveyard around the side of the house, cleaned it up and did some tweaking and salvaged some stuff off my old bike for it that got smashed in an accident. it looks like shit, the front brake is busted, it's a wee bit small, but it rides well. i'm not a fan of mountain bikes, but it will be nice for bad weather. it's possible that i can ride in snow on this since it has no fenders for it to pack into and jam the wheels. the rack acts as a rear fender but i'd like to rig up some kind of front fender, but i'm not sure how. it has no place to mount real fenders. i also want to paint it neon colors, but that's a pain. pretty much have to disassemble the whole thing.

i should be getting my old trek back into working order this weekend. i think it just needs a few detail things done that i don't know how to do. it's a great fucking bike, but i'm so devoted to the schwinn voyageurs with their sexy long wheel bases...

Building shit is fun. This year I've been able to put together a midi drumkit, a cajon drum and now I'm sketching on a subwoofer for the car. There's nothing like the feeling when you can say "LOOK WHAT I HAVE CREATEEEEED!" :D

I have been a fan of Mr. Devin Townsend's for, oh, say, 7 years? Guesstimate, but that sounds about right; roughly after Alien came out anyway.

I have never seen this man live. Ever. Not in that entire time. Tied for my favorite band/artist, and never live.

In one week from today, I get to see him perform.

And that, my friends, I believe is the definition of just plain awesome.

And to think, I was at Download 2006 and had never heard of the bloke or SYL but they put on the most immense set.

And I was in the second tent watching Bleeding Through completely oblivious. Boooo.

...

Just kidding. :D

I love it :D This kind of overproduced metal sound is exactly my cup of tea. This could be the start of a new genre

Been having a fun weekend. I'm on Fall Break, so two days off from school, so I drove on up to Southern Colorado to visit my parentals. Drove over Red Mountain Pass at night, twas quite pretty in the moonlight. Then today went for a long walk with my mom and the three dogs, went to drink some beer at a local brewery (the Pumpkin Ale was quite good), had the 50/50 burger which is a burger patty that is half beef, half bacon (could this creation BE ANYMORE BRILLIANT?!?!?!) with sweet potato fries, then went about an hour away to go to a haunted house, couldn't find it, so got more beer. Awesome day. Now I have to write a 10-12 page Midterm though, but I won't even let that put a damper on things.

Oh, and then tomorrow I'm going hiking in the mountains and going to the Telluride Horror Festival in the evening. Yay :D
