I love Gwen Stefani. So much that I joined a fan club and got 2nd row tickets to one of her shows over the summer. It was amazing.

I very nearly went to see her when she came to Scotland! But then I thought that the whole experience might have been just a bit too exciting for me, so I didnt go in the end.

What was she like live? Other than sexually mangorific, of course.

Wish I had seen No Doubt!

Don't care about DM that much, but Alan Wilder's Recoil makes really unusual stuff, quite difficult to categorize, like electronic gospel-ambient-whatever, with bluesy slide guitar, preacher style vocals and lotsa electronic stuff amongst it. It's not only odd, it's good:

And I have Babylon Zoo's MC too

Had a quick listen, Interesting. Pretty different to Depeche Mode

Funny, this thread. Since I got 3 Katie Melua CD's last week

What can I say? Relaxing music, and she has a great voice. Helps me concentrate, whereas the usual metal I listen to is kind of distracting from whatever you're trying to do.

Did you know that they just reformed? It was the big headlines here in Denmark a while ago...

My 2 cents:

Tim Christensen - Danish singer/songwriter

She's an amazing performer. She ran around the whole night (in four inch heals) and managed to run all the way into the lawn (the concert was at an ampitheater) and did a song from there. She conversed a lot with the crowd and even pulled a girl up on stage that had a No Doubt tattoo and hugged her. She has AMAZING energy and I really want to see her play w/ No Doubt when that comes around next year. EDIT: She's also amazingly beautiful in person.

I also have to mention I recently got the newest Justin Timberlake album and I love it.

I have to admit, I've heard "My love" by JT and it's suprisingly, uh progressive. I mean, Justin is still shit, as he probably didn't do anything except singing, but his producer got creative.

Anyone knows Amerie? Great singing and nice beats. Of course her producer is lazy and make songs with nicked loops (rather common in this circles, with glaring example of Timbaland making Nelly Furtado's "Do It" with stolen C64 chiptune, what an arsehole), but well, IMO it sounds rather good. Good choice of stolen samples.
