The Last of Us...I has it! :D And it's awesome. Saddest prologue in video game history ever. Gameplay is fun, game looks great. So far it feels like Uncharted meets 28 Days Later meets Children of Men.

Oh wow, what a weird thing to say at any time, let alone when you're representing a company on that kind of scale.

So the most exciting Pokemon announcements had already been made, nothing much surprising about what they showed at E3.

I saw this and got excited:

Then I saw this and my mind was blown:

And then I saw the real trailer and was like UYWILBWELUIOIliaVB;UDUABl;iadbuouba9uujO90YT67

hmm, wonder if the fact that hardly anyone pre-ordered their console influenced them just a wee bit :P

Perhaps they should call it the X-Box One-Eighty?

I'll let myself out.

I'm glad a friend of mine mentioned mentioned on Facebook the recent GOG 48 hour free games giveaway.

Hmmm, Torchlight. How much more Diablo / WOW style could it get? I'd probably say either "not much" or "none more." Crawled my way down to the first waypoint. I'm pretty impressed so far, although I would prefer a little less cartoony look (probably the thing why I haven't been very excited over Diablo III, and the hype), but hey, it's free! 8)
But oh man, does this seem like it could get really addictive...

played quite a few games recently. Shadows of the Damned was pretty darn fun. Really funny game, love the crazy style and humor. Yeah, it does not reinvent the wheel when it comes to gameplay but playing games is about fun and this one sure was fun.

The Darkness 2 was quite good too although quite short. But the over the top violence and beautiful comic book style art design make up for that.

Halo 4 on the other hand was boring. Gameplay is the same as usual, same old same old. The campaign was 0% exciging. Just enemy wave after enemy wave. Basically: kill a ton of enemies, push a button, watch cut scene, kill a ton of enemies, push button, watch a cut scene, and so on. The story is really confused and uninspired too. Whatever happened to Halo.

So now I'm playing Tomb Raider. Rather cool so far. Much more a survival adventure game compared to the old Tomb Raider games. Quite brutal too. But the gameplay is super fluent and fun.

Two more months... just two more months...

In the meantime I decided on another playthrough of Assassin's Creed 2. Y'know, when the series was still mostly focused on assassinating people. :D

looks awesome. On video. Now whether or not it runs as smoothly on current gen consoles is a different story. I sure hope so!

I concur! Currently halfway through the first game and I'm loving the world they've created. Seeing what they're doing with it next-gen makes me tingly in all the inappropriate places! If they can pull off what they're promising... let's just say there will be some stressful meetings at Bethesda's offices.
