This kind of animal behaviour turns my somewhat-abbreviated stomach.

I tried watching the first film three times, it was a lost cause.

i'm such a dick.

My local ASDA (That's like Walmart except on the other side of the road) sells it all year round, and we don't do Thanksgiving here, so pretend it's from ASDA and pretend you're in the UK in April.

Wanting to catch up with friends you haven't seen in ages, but every time they're free, you're busy, and every time you're free they're busy D:

Face planting the floor at Derby practice, the bruise will be horrific; it's on my chin and I keep leaning on it...

My wife did that in derby practice too. Was fun for her trying to explain that I did NOT clock her on the chin! Derby people all understood but the people in the office probably think she's in an abusive relationship.

Anyway, it's really cool to see a derby person on the forum!

Bloody hell, thought that said "today" when I first read it - I thought your wife was the toughest human being on earth there so soon after giving birth!

Ha! Luckily no one has seen yet, so I'm safe till the morning at least. But the latter explanation tends to be more plausible then "I spend my Sunday knocking over other women, whilst on skates!!"

People who commit "honour killings" are un-awesome, and deserve to beat upside the head with a bat. One embedded with razors, preferrably. Yeah, I know, hypocritcal statement, but that's how I feel.

So I guess I have tinnitus, after all that! It's not horrible or anything, just mildly distracting. It's like a fizzing sound underneath everything else. Hopefully it will go away in time, or at least won't get any worse. I've got a novel to write, damn it, and I don't want my concentration suffering!

For some it goes away, for me it stays, but it varies in intensity.
Some night it's so bad I can't sleep, but most of the time I don't notice it.
Hope yours is not permanent.
