OK, downloaded and played through ME3's Omega DLC and enjoyed it quite a bit. Yes, there's not much new to be found when it comes to gameplay but there's some other new stuff that is pretty cool, such as new enemy types, new weapons upgrades, a few sidequests and a new pretty cool and surprising character that you get to know, a

female Turian
, which I think we've never seen in the ME games before. There's also a new special power to be gained at the end of the DLC.

The story is very good as usual with great dialogues and great cut scenes and the environments look quite terrific, I truely enjoyed seeing so much of Omega and some of the environments made my jaw drop. It took me around three and a half hours to get through the DLC which is quite a bit lengthier than any prior ME DLC. Was it worth the 1200 MS points though? Well, to me it was but to others it may not be. If you can live with the fact that there's not really any new gameplay and that you won't be able to return to Omega after the mission is done then it might just be worth it for you, otherwise it might be better to wait for its price to drop.

Sorry for the late reply, forgot I wrote that! I completed the game years ago so probably put in about 60 hours on that save. The story gets really stupid about 2/3 of the way in so you missed that at least... and huge sections of the final dungeon are copy/pasted which is really tedious and confusing to go through.

In the end I lost interest again, doubt I'll try any more times.

finished Silent Hill Shattered Memories and it's great. I was a little worried about the fact that there's absolutely no combat and this game and that it's more about puzzles, the story and escaping from monsters but I was surprised how great the game was. I loved how the psychologist's questioning influences the story. So yeah, thumbs up.

Also, everyone who owns a PS2 and isn't satisfied with the picture quality of its games on an HD TV...you definitely should get the Sony S-Video cable. The picture quality improvement is quite big. I tried the regular PS2 cable which made games look quite horrible. An RGB cable improved the quality a little but it also oversharpened the picture and the colors were quite off. So I decided to get an S-Video cable just to give it a try as I read about its advantages for the PS2 and it really does make a big difference. No oversharpening, great contrast levels, blacks and colors. PS2 games finally don't look like shit anymore, yay! Had a hard time playing Silent Hill Origins because I could hardly see anything due to the bad picture quality. Glad I got that fixed :D

I'm playing the new ME3 Citadel DLC. It's great so far, and the villain is... Interesting (that's a good thing). If you enjoyed the Kasumi DLC, you'll enjoy at least a part of this.
Also, I've seen Wrex dance. Holy shit.

EDIT: I do not hate you. Thankyou so much, I shall play it tomorrow and get a bit too excited in my pants. <3

my 1200 points card should have arrived yesterday. Today it still has not arrived. So I'm hoping it will arrive tomorrow. It has been in my town though for the past 2 days. It's just that DHL is too freaking @&?

Can you not 'download' the points? I've just completed the DLC (the story bit) and because it's quite awesome, I've bought some MS points for Steph to use and got the code for them in an email.

Yes, this DLC is awesome. Love having Wrex on the team again. Also, after you beat the villain, you can go into the Citadel (a new part) and visit a casino, an arcade, a bar, and a firing range. Not a firing range like in the Spectre offices, but one where you can earn points and get high scores. Not to mention that you get an apartment in the Citadel and are able to customize it (the furniture).
Don't worry though, this DLC is not just for spending some off-time and relaxing (which I think is quite fun), but the 'main' part of it (where you get to kill people) is really cool as well. Definitely better than Omega, which I found to be a bit lame at some points and not really worth the money.

I'm praying to the Volus biotic god that you get your MS points soon, Lars :D :D

I initially wanted to get them via e-mail but then I needed an additional item on Amazon to save shipping costs so I figured "oh well, I'll just get a card then...it'll be here in time for the DLC's release". Yeah, right. Worked out really great!

so I started the Citadel downloads last night. And after an hour my Xbox all of a sudden shuts itself off. I figured it may have just been a minor power outage, turned it back on, continueing the downloads. And after an hour it shuts itself off again.   So I panic. But I then fortunately rather quickly figure out that the 'automatic shutdown function' was enabled. The thing is, I never enabled it though  There's Gremlins in my Xbox!!! Anyways, so after rectifying that I can now say I got the Citadel DLC too. Only really tested it so far for half an hour but it looks gorgeous. Looks very 'Blade Runner' :D

alrighty....Citadel was AWESOME. The mission itself was funny and definitely not what I expected which can be a good thing and in this case it was. There's not really any new gameplay mechanics to be found in the mission itself but I enjoyed the humor and dialogue greatly. The boss fight was pretty intense too. On normal difficulty it was quite a challenge too. BUT that's just the mission, the best part is everything that follows.

Soooo much content! Love all the entertainment areas on the Silver Strip, sure it's basically just mini games but ME3 was lacking that kind of thing and now there's plenty of it. The most fun I had with the combat arena though. Got everything that is to get in that one. And yup, got all Citadel DLC achievements! :D Beating the damn mirror match enemies on normal difficulty was a bitch and very frustrating, glad I got that done and that I won't have to do that again on that setting, heh. Can't believe that anyone would be able to beat that on Insanity difficulty. The combat arena is such a great idea anyways for people that don't want to play ME online.

And then all the character interactions and conversations in the apartment and outside of it. Great. Simply great. Bioware couldn't have done a better job with this one. And yes, unlike Omega this one IS worth the 15 bucks. I invested 10 hours and enjoyed every moment of it. And so, the ME saga really ends now :(

Couldn't have said it better myself. Finished it all today myself as well. Heavy feelings all around, especially when you listen to the datapad after the party...
It's an absolutely amazing ending to an awesome trilogy. Well done, Bioware.
