So a few days ago I was sitting on a couch at work and when I sat up I felt a little zing go up from a nerve in my lower back and while this has happened before and I've needed to see a chiropractor it was so small I thought nothing of it. So last night I was lifting weights at home and I was doing this set where you have to lift the dumbbells up over your head. So I did, then suddenly HUGE MOTHER FUCKING ZING. Catostrophic lower back failure. So I started screaming because the pain of the pinched nerve was so intense it felt like my legs were on fire. In fact it hurt so bad I couldn't even put the weights down so thank god my girlfriend was there to help me. After standing there in agony for several minutes she finally helped me tip toe like a cripple back into my room and onto the bed where I basically haven't moved. Tried to get up to take out my contacts last night but nope, couldn't lift my arms up to do it.
So this morning luckily the pain dullened enough that I can get up and kind of hobble around but my movement is severely impaired. The chiropractor can't see me until tomorrow morning so I'm bed ridden all day.
And the cherry on top? I really have to take a shit. But I can't sit down without insane pain. Oh god, you're a funny one.

Slept (for want of a better term) in my clothes with the lights on, and had a bag packed beside the front door in case I needed a quick getaway to hospital. Thankfully, the pain (which was quite astonishing) has eased a bit.

Saw the Doc today, and I'm off for a CT scan next Wednesday.
Finally get my fucking knees to shut up, now this...
The Doc said renal colic is more painful than a gunshot wound. I was too busy whimpering to argue.
3 oxycontin did nothing.
