Yep, looking forward to that one too.

Stuck at home with a throat infection so I'm considering grabbing a copy of Dark Souls for PS3 so I can curl up on the couch and enjoy some hardcore RPG goodness.

that one is supposed to be even harder than Demon Souls, right? Then it's even worse for my blood pressure!

Borderlands 2 Borderlands 2 Borderlands 2 Borderlands 2 Borderlands 2.

I can't stop playing it, can't stop thinking about it; even had a dream involving the new type of pistol that when you reload you throw it at the enemy and it explodes. Seriously, Game Of The Year.

is it better than the first one? That one bored me after the first playthrough as there was no replay value. No story, boring missions, no interesting characters, it was all about the loot.

This one has a way better story, more diverse missions, an improved GPS system, better loot, it's pretty much everything that a sequel should be. Not sure what you'll think of the characters, because I'm still pretty early in the game, but a lot of the characters from the first one return, and some new ones. Handsome Jack in particular is a complete asshole, but in the most hilarious way ever. Like buying a real pony made of diamonds and gloating about it to you asshole.

you got bigger balls and a lower blood pressure than I do then :P

also: Transformers Fall of Cybertron is awesome. I had such a blast playing through that game. I think it was the right decision to get rid of the coop mode and focus on the story. I think it's much better than War for Cybertron and I enjoyed that one quite a bit already. Better presentation, cool cut scenes, a greater gameplay variety...it's just overall better. And kicking ass with Grimlock is just too sweet.

That does make it more interesting, even though I'm not too keen on downloading games like this.
Ah well, we'll see :D

In other news, I bought Leviathan last week, but did not play it yet. I hear it's quite good :)

I prefer buying games on disc too but if you don't really have that option...ME1 is really worth it. Way better than just having a comic book style intro in ME2, hehe.

and I loved Leviathan. I guess it's getting quite a few mixed reviews but to me it's essential because it makes things much clearer in regards to ME3s endings. It's especially helpful if you haven't played through ME3 yet. The extended cut and the Leviathan DLC both improve the endings quite a bit. Although I didn't really have a problem with ME3s original endings.

well, besides watching lots of horror movies this month I decided to also play a couple of horror games in addition. So I decided to give 'Silent Hill: Homecoming' another chance as I did not like it the first time I played it. It was one of my first video games a few years ago after not having played any games for about 7 years. And well, back then I sucked. Got my ass handed to me constantly. I just quit at some point. Too annoying, not scary enough, blab blab.

Welllll, now that I'm actually a liiiiiitlle more skilled again and figured out the combat system in this game it's almost...no, it IS quite easy, hehe. It might not be as scary as Silent Hill games used to be. But man, after seeing what they've done to the Resident Evil series I'll take SH Homecoming over recent Resident Evil games any day!
