I got a second hand PS3 the other day (got FFXIII and Sonic Generations, I'm not one for shooty games) and the analog stick keeps veering off to the side. It's very frustrating if you need to do any precision jumping (LIKE MOST OF SONIC) so I've stuck it into place with a huge ball of blu tack and just use the D-Pad. Is it worth getting an unofficial controller? I can't afford an official controller for another 2 weeks so hoping the blu-tack solution will continue to work.

So I splashed out and bought Diablo 3 and it's completely UN-FUCKING-PLAYABLE on my Asus G73J.

This is one of the reasons I generally prefer console gaming.

I know the game will work out of the box and don't have to waste time trying to fix the damn thing.

Grrr.

well, there might still be a console version of the game. I'd hope so!

Also, there will be a Shadow of the Colossus movie. :?

Despite all the issues with Diablo 3 (getting booted on a single player game is fucking ridiculous) it is a blast. So much fun, when it works. Went for the Demon Hunter, fun blowing people away with traps and bombs and stuff. Diggin' it.

Yes, this. I started Act 3 as a witch doctor yesterday, and my AoE has gone from good to ridiculous. I'm oneshotting 12 mobs at a time. Superlol. It's also interesting the way my PC reacts to Diablo 3, I've never heard it work so hard before, CPU fan runs at 6300 rpm!

That's delightfully gruesome (tip: watch fullscreen in the highest quality). Kinda wondering whether anything in that video is relevant of gameplay or something else, but it's pretty awesome nonetheless.

will be interesting to see what all them 'secret E3 games' are :D
looking forward to Transformers FOC (Dinobots...fuck yeah!), Aliens: Colonial Marines and Darksiders 2. I'm kind of cautious when it comes to Dead Space 3 and Resident Evil 6. I read that Dead Space 3 will have a cover system (ugh) which means there will be even less survival horror to be found in the game. And the guys from Capcom have already said numerous times that they want to attract Call of Duty players with their Resident Evil games now.

Watched the Nintendo Pre-E3 show. Boring, but had some interesting Wii U details.
Watched the Microsoft E3 conference. Boring.
Watched the EA E3 conference. Boring. Even NFS Most Wanted looked like it'll be disappointing.
First person set-in-near-future shooters everywhere seems to be this years' motto... Just like the last couple of years. Ugh.

I've been following some of the updates too. Nothing interesting or otherwise new. And apparently stealth no longer has any place in Splinter Cell, but instead it'll be more like a generic shooter.

But maybe the other days will bring something nice. From that list I'm interested in AssCreed3, Forza Horizon (could very well be crap), Hitman Ab Solution, and possibly Sim City.
