Oh no ... part 4?
2 was disappointing, 3 was total crap, how are they going to make 4 a good one?

Pirates of the Caribbean 3.

Not as good as the first two but entertaining nonetheless. Usual splendid special effects. Storyline was too much, action was not enough I felt.

Sweetie rating: Ate them all (but I hadn't had lunch). :)

it was Pirates of the Caribbean 3 for me too...I thought it was enjoyable although I agree, there was a bit too much story which made the first half of it pretty slow! But the battles were awesome and I still thought it was very entertaining.

Cool Runnings.

It's the movie about the Jamaican Bobsled Team. Funny stuff. One of John Candy's last films before he died.

OH WOW I LOVE THAT FILM!!! It's on the free Irish channels at least once a year. I love the singing guy! He's all like.. *sing sing*!! And does it say at the end that it's based on a true story or have I been taking too many of the blue pill again?

Just saw the first two chapters of Angels in America. Wow... I can't believe this went under the radar in my country.
In my opinion this takes acting to a next level...

Really great: 10 / 10

Music and Lyrics. Pretty cute, loved the 80's music thang going on. While I adore all Hugh Grant romantic comedies, it wasn't quite as good as Two Weeks Notice or Notting Hill, and definitely nothing compared to About A Boy, which is one of my favorites...and not really a romantic comedy either, but whatever.

Pan's Labyrinth. Very dark! Not what I expected, and it took awhile for it to all sink in afterwards. Visually, it's just stunning. A fairytale for adults (I think I heard that somewhere). I want to see it again. :)

The Queen. Another good one. Great acting.

Pursuit of Happyness. Good one also.

This short film is a wonderful piece of danish movie history. A mixture of 70's blaxploitation and 50's sci-fi, with a message of gay liberation and "let MEN be MEN". Intentionally bad dubbing and special effects that would make Ed Wood cringe.

Plot: The gay blacks from the planet Anus in the 8th solar system arrive at Earth and finds out the planet is horribly infested with women. They start to systematically eradicate the female tyranny one woman at a time, so in the end all men can live free and happy in a gay paradise.

Kneel down and get ready to receive the holy gay nigger-seed.

A true cult classic. This movie's purpose is not to offend, it is a genuinely good-hearted and wonderful little film. "FOR A GAY UNIVERSE!"

9/10

It's an actual movie? Sheesh, and I just thought you were being sarcastic in that other thread.

Not that I'm shocked that I've never heard of this one. :P
