Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

Finished the Batman: Arkham City storyline, now collecting all Riddler things and remaining side-missions. I have to say I was less impressed with the grand finale than I was with Arkham Asylum, but maybe that's because *SPOILER ALERT* I didn't want Joker to die, but fortunately his creepy singing during the end credits made up for that somewhat. Still, great game, warmly recommended.

Once I wrap up everything in Arkham City I can finally start with Fallout New Vegas. 8)

(Oh noes hotlinking!!)

Have played through a little of the game, (maybe a couple hours so far) but being that for the past month or two all I've played has been Dragon Age/Mass Effect my hands were unprepared for the battle controls in Witcher 2. It's still taking me a little to get used to - especially when I'm telling myself 'this is the correct trigger' and it is NOT THE CORRECT TRIGGER. /slaps self.

I have no idea what I'm doing in there but I'm enjoying it - that's the point, right?

...I can't help but find Geralt oddly attractive, too. I should hang my head in shame really. Delicious battle-scarred pixels!

Hiya, Trans-Tasman Sis! :)

Still haven't gone any further into ME3 yet, and I'm now rather trepidatious about actually playing.
Having the pressure to like it or be considered a entitled piece of shit crybaby...

Aaww, you don't have to like it! Just don't go abusing Bioware's staff over it, lol. I dunno - that's my biggest beef with the whole backlash, to be honest. Not the fact that people don't like it (That'll happen no matter what, can't please everyone) but the fact that they thought it was acceptable to go and be abusive to the Bioware staff, shit all over the forums and to go so far as to claim they'd 'boycott' them etc. It's not necessary, I feel. A civil discussion with concerns and criticisms raised would have been just as good, but people turned into flaming bags of turd because it's the internet. :(

I'm reminded of the backlash one of the writers in Dragon Age 2 endured, simply for writing a character who can be in a homosexual relationship, it was really horrible...I think she even got death threats? I can't recall. The internet: a powerful and dangerous tool in the hands of many. :/

my thoughts exactly. Not liking it is one thing and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. But annoying the fuck out of the whole internet because of it is another. Hell, I will admit now that I thought the final boss battle of Arkham City was super lame and it's a game series that I have grown to love too. But that was just a few minutes of a 25 hour game that was an awesome game. Uncharted 3, which I have also grown to love (also for its story), was waaaaaay too short and the story overall was a disappointment. But the game was a whole lot of fun anyways.

Now even if I had not enjoyed ME3s ending at all that would have absolutely not kept me from enjoying the game which took me 43 hours the first time. And I'll be quite frank and honest...the whole story surrounding T******a alone was better written and more awesome than pretty much everything I saw in ME2 together (again, I LOVE that game too). And I absolutely DID expect post-game DLC, maybe something as big as Dragon Age: Awakening, DLC that actually makes sense and adds another thick layer to the game. Which I would prefer actually rather than a bunch of pointless and short DLCs. After all, BioWare did say that people should keep their savegames after finishing ME3. But who knows what'll happen now.

I've never actually played through all of the God of War series, but the trailer for the new one is so cool I felt it needed posting...

Played the demo of Trials Evolution today before I went to work and loved it to bits. It's such a pretty game and it's great fun as well. Can't wait to get the full game during the week and get some 4-person multiplayer going on in my house. :D

Having a clearout at my neighbour's, she found Bully for Wii and gave it to me. Just been playing it now, pretty funzipies. I might also mention that while I like playing games, I'm cheap as fuck and won't buy them if I can help it.

Since I have already purchased Arkham City, I'm not sure whether to be excited or pissed.

^Well you could've known that there would be a GOTY edition.
I'm glad, I haven't bought Arkham City yet, I'll be getting this version.
