^Many hours spent on this game during 7th grade when I should have been studying.

From MGS, I have only played MGS4, which I loved and think is one of the best games I've ever played. I'm thinking of buying MGS1 from the PS Store, and then the MGS HD collection. Can anyone here who played them tell me if the old Metal Gear Solids feel aged or not? Of course the graphics are old, but that doesn't bother me. I'm more worried about annoying camera work and stuff like that.

you can't ever go wrong with MGS. I still own the US version of the first MGS which to me still is one of the best games of all time. If you have the chance, get Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes for the Gamecube, which is a remake of the first MGS game and a very awesome one it is.

I didn't know there was a MGS1 remake. I have my Gamecube hooked up, so I might try that. Then again, I'm way more comfortable with a Playstation controller (and I'd rather have the game on PS3 than on GC). But does that outweigh better camera, controls, sound effects?

the remake is 100% worth it, trust me. Yeah, the Gamecube controller ain't the best but just for the MGS remake you should live with that. It's a faithful remake with updated graphics, improved cutscenes, etc. . If you can get it on eBay for a reasonable price then go for it.

So apparently I am still in a nostalgic mood... but I can't find this specific game I used to play as a kid. I've been googling it in all ways I could think of, with no luck Sooooooo I was hoping you nerds could help me out. :D Here it goes:

Late 90s computer game (ran on Windows 98 I think). You control a small alien. This alien is supposed to save the earth from a drunk who took over the planet when he found a magic drink (believing it was beer) and used it to make the entire world aaall... psychedelic. I remember things like a really freaky cow it was hard to get past, and a rather fun ice slide.

I think the game had the same name as the alien.. which pooossibly started with an S or a Z. Maybe.

Woah! My MUM remembered the name. MY MUM. Let that sink in for a bit. :|

Anyway... the name was Tonic Trouble (I knew it was similar to Sonic!) That game was awesome.

The ME3 ending... was an interesting attempt at doing something high concept without quite getting there. I loved the game overall, was underwhelmed a bit at the end but it's really not that bad.

I actually quite liked it. It's different, not predictable and if you understand what's going on in the end it actually makes sense, even more so when you get the best ending.

Oh I agree. They just shoehorned too much at the very very end. There are some interesting theories about what could really be going on that really makes me love it.

I think this sucks and all those crybabies can suck my fucking balls. Whatever happened to artistic freedom? It's really an internet community disease where you just need a few fuckwits to have an agenda and *boom*...shit hits the fan. I love the game the way it is and if developers have to give in to everything now then that just sucks. Maybe the ending would have been completely different if the original endings had not been leaked....so yeah, the joke's really on the internet generation ruining everything for itself and now for everyone else who does not agree. If they can't take something that's different then maybe they should just watch Star Wars.
