Fucking 360s. I have one (my second after my 1st one died), but will always buy the ps3 version of a game if it's available. Sorry I can't help with your problem but thanks for the opportunity to rant a little!

I'm not familiar with the 360 but to my knowledge there is a way to add a bigger hard drive to them. If such a thing is possible then it stands to reason that there could be either a) some connection for its current hard drive that is loose/breaking, or b) the hard drive you have is going kaput. If the latter is the case you should be able to replace it from the things I've heard, but I don't know for sure. I'd suggest you Google it, but if you search "360 problem" you'll probably get a million links about the RROD which won't help. Good luck in your search anyways.

Regarding video games right now I spend a healthy (or unhealthy) amount of time playing Black Ops co-op with my roommate (us 2 vs 8 bots on random maps in TD). I'm not a COD guy really, but the PS3 is seriously lacking in Splitscreen Coop shooters. When I'm done building a new rig I will be lost in BF3 forever methinks. The clan I'm in is into the thick of it, but I haven't bothered with it yet until I get a PC upgrade to power it half decent. Looks deadly though.

sylkicks wrote:Hey does anyone have a newer Xbox 360 slim? I have the 4gb model, and since I bought the thing I've been getting this error message occassionally that says: "Error. Storage device removed. Must restart console." So I do, and usually the thing works fine. But lately it's been becoming more frequent, like I'll get a few minutes into a game and the error message will pop up. Anyone had any experience with it? It's beyond fucking annoying.

call MS support. They will try to help you on the phone and let you do some things. If nothing helps then send your Xbox to them and let them fix it. :)

Yeah, I dunno, it's weird. It does it like two or three times then it's good. I want to get another hard drive anyway, what I have is just 4 gb of flash memory that I can't play original Xbox games on. Lame. Might have to treat myself for Christmas.

GTA IV packaged with Lost & The Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony is $69 right now, with the options of trade and save. Gonna trade Assassins Creed 3. Just can't get into it enough, no matter how hard I try. Since it came with an extra content voucher that I haven't used, I'm hoping that will increase the value.

Used a gift voucher to get Arkham City and I know it will rule, but I can't see how it's gonna get a look in with Skyrim in the PS3!

fyi AC Revelations (I assume you're talking about) is not AC3, which is yet to be released. Funny way they have of stretching the series, making 1, 2 then 2 more before they make 3...

Regardless I love the series to death and am just pointing out minor nitpicky things to see my own text.

No, I'm talking about Brotherhood (looking at it on Wikipedia, you're right, it is an extension of part 2). Revelations just got its release here, actually.

Taking a break from Mass Effect 2 and its endless planet scanning...

Popped in Red Dead Redemption instead, just for a bit of fun at first but now I'm replaying the whole story again. Still very enjoyable. :) Definitely more enjoyable than searching for a signal spike and then hearing 'Probe launched' for the millionth time. ME3'd better include more fun things...

consider yourself lucky that you just now started playing ME2. When the game was released, planet scanning was a much much slower process. Bioware eventually patched the game to speed up the planet scanning. It's really not that bothersome anymore now when you experienced it way back when the game was released in 2010. But yeah, it's no fun. That's why Bioware already mentioned about 100 times that there won't be any planet scanning in ME3 :D
Can't fucking wait for that game. Only 3 more months....woooo hoooo

I'm working on Mass Effect 1 still, why must games have so much to do?!?!?! And yeah, I wish all games would try to stay away from the "collect shit" quests, it feels like such a cheap way to extend the life of an otherwise good game (ahem... ASSASSINS CREED... ahem).

Edit: Woot, just about to get my first Mass Effect sex scene. With Ashley. She's annoying as hell, so will make a point to cheat on her with Tali in the next one...

Bah, have sex with aliens. Clearly this is the right thing to do
Liara's good in bed in ME1 (yup, with Femshep)
On my ME2 first playthrough, Garrus got some, then Thane on the second. :3
