Maybe I'll just buy another 6870 and do dual GPU. And yeah six-core doesn't really do much for gaming but multithreading works great for Cubase and shit. :) Intel CPUs are better overall but then again they cost 4x as much as AMD's (from the ones I compared before I bought my components). But listen to Biert though, he's nerdier. Oh and you should look forward to having an SSD, it's ridiculously amazing.

I'm going back and forth between the AMD and Intel thing, but the rational part of me knows the Intel gives better performance. Today I'm wondering just how important are CPU performances for gaming, or is it more important to buy the best gpu? Research ahoy...

played lots of Skyward Sword the past few days and I think I'm nearing the end. It does get a little repetitive in the end but it's still fun. Guess my next big "project" will be playing through Skyrim :D

You'll be fine with a quadcore. The 1050T and 1090T series are great though if you want AMD.

What I found (or been told) is that most games does not utilize 4 cores, so they are kinda wasted, more so for the 6-cores and 8-cores CPU's.
I've not pulled the trigger yet, but am very close to it, maybe tonight...

finished Skyward Sword and it was a blast! I loved it and certainly don't agree with some of the not so positive reviews. Next up: Skyrim. But I need a video game break first. Took me 50 hours to get through Skyward Sword! And Skyrim should take at least twice that time!

People just want to hate Nintendo, no matter what.

I don't play as many nintendo games anymore, but seriously, I'm glad they're out there doing what they do.

yeah, I think people have weird expectations when it comes to Nintendo games. The weirdest argument for putting Nintendo games down is the lack of voice acting. I mean, come on...what else would Mario have to say besides 'It's-a me....Mario!' ?

Heh heh.

Foolish youth.

I'm 161 hours in, and have barely done any of the Main or Faction Quests... :D

Hero.

I'm barely home these days so barely ever getting to play my PS3. At this rate I'll get till Christmas out of Assassin's Creed and Uncharted 3. Then in the New Year when Prex leaves for college for 5 months I'll have all of Skyrim to do! Cos the line-up for next year is fairly fucking shite, if we're honest.

Ah yes, here it is. I believe (thumbs thru Encyclopedia Galactica) this to be the Quarian Imperative for *ahem*:
"Fuck. Yeah."

Oh christ I know that, but game doesn't make a whole year! Plus that's not out till the end of March and there's nothing else really coming before it thus far that looks appealing to me. Things'll probably pick up from April on though... And if GTA V sees the light of day next year then things'll be extra nice.

Keelah'selai!

My Quarian grammar is a little rusty, apologies. I'm far into my pilgrimage and thus a while since I was back amongst the Migrant Fleet.
(Ok. I'm such a nerd. Fuck.)
