I just finished Arkham City a minute ago. Finished all the main storyline and side quests but I could not be fucking bothered getting all 400 Riddler trophies. I might have contemplated it if they'd released it at a quiet time of year but there're so many excellent releases out at the moment that there's no way I'm devoting time to all that shite no matter how cool the Riddler is as a character! Overall though, I thoroughly enjoyed this and liked it a bit better than I liked Arkham Asylum I think. The last few parts of the main story as it built up towards the climax were pretty fucking brilliant and the story as a whole overall had been very enjoyable. It'll be interesting to see where they can take the series after this one... I think the conclusion of the Identity Thief murders side mission would be what I'd like to see going forward if they make another one. The interwoven Catwoman missions were also a really good touch and I think they should keep that running if they make another one, though not necessarily with Catwoman cos she was an annoying bitch to move around with. A Batman game like these in Gotham City itself would be immense stuff altogether. Fingers crossed for the future!

Just ordered Skyrim.
The box is essentially a medal awarded for not having a girlfriend.

Got MW3 (MW3?! YOU FUCKING HERETIC!).

Multiplayer is way more responsive. Hit detection is on par with previous IW efforts which matters to me A LOT. Of course, having a better connection definitely helps. Campaign seems a bit more action oriented than previous. I'm on Hardened and it feels like I'm playing Veteran. This seems like a proper MW2 without the bullshit knife runners and whatnot. People not interested in the series won't get much out of it or find anything new.

The gap in graphical fidelity is hilariously present here. Good god.

It almost look like San Andreas was just the rendering process for GTA V. I guess it is, in a way.

Just on those San Andreas comments, I have given up on my attempts to go back and play San Andreas again. The weapons system is balls and the controls generally have not aged well at all. Graphics are looking particularly dated also. I mean, I still consider it to be one of the best games of all time but the years have not been kind. Consigned to memory.

Did you try and play it on a widescreen? It looks fucking hilaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarious. I've wanted to replay it for ages but my Playstations are all hooked up to a plasma and it just hurt my eyes trying to do anything. Can't wait for the uber-detailed HD countryside in V. Nothing better than picking someone up, driving for miles and then shooting them in a face in a field. :D

Don't care about the MW3 either, but it's cool beans for those that like it.
Also got a Old Republic invite, did not even know I was in for that beta, not sure I'll try it either.
