Karnivool is, indeed, excellent!

The new Silverchair comes out here tomorrow. I'm torn. That new single is complete crap. I've liked most everything this band has done, but even songs I didn't really dig, I didn't really dislike them either. I really dislike the new single. How does the rest of the album compare?

Why do mostly only crap bands from australia make it overseas? There are so many heavy bands that own Karnivool. What a shame.

The fact that I don't like ACDC doesn't help Airborne either

LOL! Well, sorry little Mr Crankypants!

Let me know which heavy bands (not screaming metal bands) own Karnivool because I sure can't think of any (they are miles better than The Butterfly Effect, now there is a bloody irritating lead singer).

Cog rule.

Alarum lose points for using the term "down under" on their myspace page. I kinda like the music, but don't like the vocals at all.

Checking out Blatherskite now.

I saw alarum live, they're incredible. The bassist sings too.

On the topic of Blatherskite, I recently contacted them after I discovered they were in search of a bassist and 2nd guitarist.

I can proudly say, along with my friend Stu, that I'm in the band now.

The more I listen to their album they have planned the more and more I dig it. I'm curious to see what people think about it. Its cool, we tune down to F#. First gig on the 18th of sept.

John Butler Trio, also a killer Aussie band (yeah, I know John was born in America).

LOL. Like it matters.

If you look at the population, a true Aussie is almost more likely to come from another country. The guy's been here since he was a kid. Beh. :)
