Trying to get an Excel macro to do what I want and run. I think I've spent more time on trying to get Excel to do this automatically for me than it would've taken me to manually manipulate all the files one by one. Oh well.

Trying to figure out how to reset and restart the "Following in his footsteps" quest in Fallout 3...

Had the quest at the point where I paid Moriarty for the info on the pc's dad, then wandered around and did some sidequests, etc. Along the way I made the mistake of entering Vault 112, which conviniently ended "Following" and started "Scientific pursuits", doing some major skipping. Since it's my first time playing the game, I'd like to do it properly without skipping anything.
And I really don't feel like starting all over again, as I'm on level 17, with the save files showing 50 hours on the clock... Damn.
