MGS: Rising's swordplay looks like it'll be crazy fun. I'm guessing what little has been shown of it is just the tip of the iceberg, as well. I can see myself just running around, cutting pillars and walls just to see what falls down.

There's so much talk of Ghost Recon Future Soldier (which looks like a fun game) yet no one has even speculated on the possibility of a new Rainbow Six...I guess if there's any chance it will be soon when Ubisoft goes live with their conference.

Yeah it kinda reminds me of Prototype with all those people in half flying everywhere!!! Plus its perfect fodder for the videogame are to violent arguments!!

Anyone know who the dipshit that's directing this Ubisoft demo is? He's annoying on a previously unfathomable level. The Shaun White Skateboarding thing looked alright-ish. The whole changing environments as you play is the only interesting thing about it, really. Gimme the auld Tony Hawk games any day. This laser tag/q-zar thing is fucking weird as well...

Yes it does, I am very surprised with how good it looks.

He's said a few funny lines, like the whole pistol whipping thing. The laser tag thing looks like something that will flop to be honest.

Rainbow Six plz.

And another weird little yoke comes along with this Innergy thing... Gaming was doing well when it was just sitting on a beanbag with a controller, not needing to have laser tag and running around and action motion sensors and finger sensory detectors and all this crap.

And now they're rolling out new Kinect games. The first of which is a sports game, obvsly. And then a fitness thing. These motion sensor things are supposedly the way forward, but what appears to be happening with them is that the various platforms and sensor devices are basically resulting in various companies making the same shite but with different names for the different devices. Not very progressive, methinks.

It's just a bunch of gimmicky shit. I wont be paying the 150 dollars or so I've read it's going to cost.

Cool, so we know Ubisoft is more interested in casual games instead of something actually fun.

That Ghost Recon demo looked delicious... Never been interested in that style of game before but that looked really, really cool.

I'm kind of sceptical regarding the Kinect controls anyways. I can't see how there can be much precision when it comes to controls when you don't have any type of controler. And Playstation Move is basically a Wii remote rip off to steal some Wii customers. And the market will be flooded with even more casual gaming garbage while the world of hardcore games consist more and more of sequels, sequels and more sequels. It's kind of sad. Not long ago Sony and Microsoft were like 'casual games suck' and blab blab. And now they jump on the casual gaming wagon.

And to presumably end there are some people dancing.

Brotherhood and Ghost Recon were the only good things in that entire hour and a half.

Insanely disappointed with no announcement of anything else. The new Driver game even looked pretty gimmicky.

Dammit Ubisoft...

At least the new Ghost Recon is going to be insane.

AC3 looks pretty cool indeed. I like the action in the footage they showed. I hope there will be more of that throughout the entire game!

Fix't

Definitely anxious for Crysis 2 as well as the new Medal of Honor. Waiting to see what Valve has to show this year. Probably Left 4 Dead 3, Portal 2, not Half Life 3/Ep3, and who knows what else.
