Not sure what I'll do now since my AvP Hunter edition probably won't arrive for another 2 weeks  1 week if I'm lucky. But I'm not the lucky type of person. So it will probably be 3 weeks. Oh well, might play ME2 again as a different class. Already played the game for about 100 hours. Might as well play it for another 25

If you havent tried the Sentinel class yet, I recommend it. It's a great mix between biotics and tech.

I restarted the game as an 'infiltrator'. I wanted to check out that stealth tech...it's pretty cool! Just not too happy with the weapons that the infiltrator can use. But since I'm not playing on 'insanity' anymore it doesn't really matter.

I tried to buy it today, but couldn't because I don't have a Gold subscription. How retarded is that?

I guess MS doesn't want my money.

I'm trying to decide whether my next purchase is gonna be Heavy Rain. That thing is so damned intriguing. I was wary of it because I didn't know how well it could hold my attention, and the main complaint I've heard is that it's really slow to start up, but I think it sounds worth it to stick it out. I dunno. Hmmm..

I've read that the movement controls are pretty bad too, but the story is damn amazing. I'm glad developers are going back to making story based games.

I heard that post atomic zombie slug men who use acidic salt as an ironic murder weapon are the killers.

The story is amazing. I went into Gamerbase (A console arcade, basically), andthey had it up on freeplay. I went on intending to play for an hour or two and ended up playing for four and a half. The movement contrls can be a little sluggish to start with, but it's more a matter of getting used to it. It is, gameplay wise, boiled down to holding down buttons to make things happen. What's more interesting is how your choices effect the game. And they do, quite a lot. Time constantly passes in that game, so you have to think quickly.

You'll play through the story as various people, showing how their lives touh eachother on an axis which connects them all. The only thing I don't like is that I don't have a PS3 to play it at home.

I think I'll pick up Heavy Rain eventually as well but I'll wait till it gets a little cheaper. The controls in Indigo Prophecy were a little 'meh' so I kind of expected them to be the same in Heavy Rain too.

Metro 2033 looks sort of nice, it's made by Russians and has interesting setting being Moscow's subway system in postapocalyptic future. Shame it appears to be linear corridor shooter with some crappy on rails (it's subway after all) sequences. I wait for some Steam sale with that, somehow I don't think it will be worth the full price (especially the Steam one).

Also, Frictional Games released a little bit of gameplay of their upcoming survival horror Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I'm totally buying it for full price, looks like it still holds the tradition of using brilliant interface known from Penumbra series and utterly terrorising the player.

After reading a preview in the newest GameInformer mag I have to say I will be buying Metro 2033. There are parts where you go into the postapocalyptic wasteland and do some exploring and such, but you have to time your trips basically because there is no indicator on how much oxygen you have left.

Read up a bit on it, some of the features they're including sound very enticing...like the fact that your ammo is also the game's currency.

finally got my Hunter edition of AvP today...it's awesome! yeah, not the best looking game ever but hey, Left 4 Dead 1 looks like shit too and it's great. Graphics are overrated (sometimes). Did a bit of MP and played the Marine campaign for a bit too. I seems to be a little short but not TOO short, considering that there's 2 other campaigns (even if they are short too). MP is fun..yeah, the alien's controls are a little awkward but it's fun none the less and I achieved 18 kills on my first try anyways! I think it will just take a bit of getting used to. The Hunter edition is a real treat too. The facehugger looks real cool, it's just a very cool special edition and the UK version wasn't too expensive either...yay!
