The Informers.

Brett Easton Ellis is a genius. This was an emotional tour-de-force. Crushingly dark, suffocatingly real. It'll just simply make you feel. Amazing.

:D

That film was genuinely breathtaking though. I tend to write lots of positives about things I see because I'm quite selective with what I pay to watch. And I dunno, I've never really "felt" a movie like that one. It really did seem to jump out at you.

Seraphim Falls is currently on television, it's basically just lots of people riding around on horses so far. Two people and one horse have died, and there's one actor with an APPALLING attempted Irish accent. That's about it.

Finally saw Watchmen. god dammit thats a great movie. definitely need to buy it. Rorschach is one of the coolest, most bad ass muddafukaz this side of the cosmos. i also enjoyed the fact that they didnt resort to Dr. Manhattan having simply a lump on his crotch, instead... a glowing blue penis! :o

District 9
far beyond awesome. Really, really enjoyed this one. It's been the best sci-fi in quite a while! Definitely is a must-buy for me.

In Bruges
it was as crazy as everyone told me and I loved it. It was both funny and sad. Certainly one of the best movies I have seen this year.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine
it was entertaining. I liked it, but I didn't expect anything from it other than entertaining me and that is what it did.

Two fantastic films right there... In Bruges was something else, wasn't it? Colin Farrell, for all the bullshit, is one talented actor. Great script too.

They had an awesome cast in that movie. Farrell is great in it and Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes were their usual fantastic selves.
