I love the second season... it may be my favorite or maybe the third is. I dunno, love the whole damn series so much.

I don't care that this will only make sense to a few members here. This is the most amazing thing ever made for children on Norwegian TV:

^A friend of mine does the credits song (the one with the boys choir) in such a delightfully horrible way! :D I lived with him for a while, and he did it EVERY evening all December!

Good times.

watched the second season in 2 days. Now I need to buy the 3rd season. It's cheaper to order it online but it would take a few days till it arrives and I don't know if I wanna wait that long! Then I'll have to get my hands on all episodes of season 4 via downloading or something since that one won't be released on DVD untill next summer, I think!! And regarding the second season...I think you may have had an overdose of heterosexual sex or something, Biert. Because the second season was awesome!

Breaking Bad is the best tv show around these days by a mile. I'll be as distraught as I was at the ending of The Wire when it's packed in next year...

In more light-hearted television, the new series of Dexter is quite good as well. Not up there with the Trinity Killer series (can't remember what number that was...) but still a pretty addictive watch all the same. Once this is out of the way it'll be onto Boardwalk Empire and then The Walking Dead.

Anyone watching AMC's new Western thing, actually? Hell On Wheels, I think it's called... Looked fairly good on paper...

I think I'll be OK when they end Breaking Bad. I mean, I'll miss the show and the characters but it feels like there is a conclusion coming and once that's over the story is done. The Wire was pretty sad when it ended because it felt like there was much more that the world there could offer us. I just wasn't ready to let it go quite yet... That might also be because I've followed Breaking bad from season 1 and have had the years to digest it where as I watched the Wire all in one big pile and finished it in a couple weeks, so it felt abrupt.

My current obsession is Fringe. I didn't watch it for a long time against my friends advice since I thought "it's just X-files part duece" but it's actually pretty awesome. The science is complete nonsense but the story line is good and John Noble is an amazing actor. I just caught up to where we are at in season 4 and now I'm chomping at the bit for new episodes.

This season of Dexter actually has been a bit of a let-down. The Trinity season I agree was basically the best the series achieved and ever since it's struggled a bit to find a voice for post-Rita Dexter. I think for the series to continue to develop they need to think outside of the box with the next season. Maybe have Dexter transfer departments to a new police force and get some new names and faces involved. We'll see, all I know is that the 'twist' of this season was annoyingly transparent and the storylines have been kind of spastic.

Well maybe I've got the wrong season in mind :P I thought there was just too much of the family drama in one of the seasons. Wife nagging, Walt not saying a word, awkward dinners, blah.

Other than that, I don't think Dexter 6 has been a let down at all, much better than 5 in fact. Especially these last couple of episodes are very exciting.

And Fringe is pretty awesome :D Although the last season (maybe 2) again doesn't really click for me. I know that "fringe science" is supposed to deal with things that may or may not be really possible and paranormal things and whatnot, but the science is Fringe is a joke :D Nutty professor can cure scary new diseases in a day. Should have let him cure cancer 30 years ago...

I have been watching Hell On Wheels. I think it's pretty cool but that may just be because it's got cowboys and indians :D

there would be awkward dinners too if your spouse took off and had a "fugue state" a second cell phone and a bunch of other odd behavior :P

True, but I don't want to see it :P I just found those bits incredibly dull.

See, I think the family dynamic is my favorite part beyond the relationship between Walt and Jessie.

Well, except for the tension with a certain other someone. But we won't speak about that til Lars and Sean get there.
