I agree with all the talk of camping experience being part of the whole enjoyment of the festival. I don't give a shit if I look awful, feel filthy, or have had the worst night's sleep of my entire year.. it's all worth it.

My friends are considering renting a camper van for this year's, though. Not sure what I think about that. I might pitch a tent just next to it, to preserve the festival feeling.

Wouldn't surprise me if festivals actually had a crack team of elite tent pissers on standby at all times

In retrospect that is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

As a side note, I'm insanely jealous of festivals like this.

i have camped at a fuck-ton of festivals and this year, we shall be staying at a mates house 10 miles away.

I'm lame. I hate festivals. If it were about the music only, then it would be great. But this festival culture just doesn't appeal to me. Hell, I don't like going out at night a lot of the time because of people. Having an entire camping ground filled with them is a nightmare to me.

Bought my ticket at Christmas time. Just found out the other day that my cousins Wedding is on the Saturday. Right about the time Dev will be playing.
