I have only The Link and FMTS, both are big bag of awesome. Also, every live recording of them I've seen have nutkicking, übertight, superpunchy sound. If it sounds that way live, then it must be divine experience to see them live.

And I like the fact that guys making such massive music are bunch of tree-hugging hippies singing about sitting by the lake. It's different.

Ah...they really are that good live ;) I saw them twice last year...both times they owned everyone's faces and made tons of new fans. Very impressive live.

I suggest getting Terra Incognita, its different from their other stuff but still good. And if you guys like that, I'm willing to hand out their demo "Possessed" from when they were still Godzilla, not Gojira!

Saw them last year, in a really small venue in Glasgow (King Tuts) and they were absolutely spot on. It does indeed sound that way live!

And the whole whale-hugging-tree-loving thing is a big turn on for me too!

On a related note, I recommend Gojira's country- and label-mates, Hacride. They're much better than Gojira ;) :P

Hacride are also excellent, though definitely quite a different sort of band.

Still, I hope that they tour Scotland together some day!

Just discovered Gojira a couple of days ago, and it's all I've been listening to since (with the exception of Devin of course! :D)
Hope the Way of All Flesh will be as awesome as FMTS. And speaking of FMTS; anyone else feel that the To Sirius prelude, From Mars is just plain awesomeness in musical form? I love it. And I love the constant tapping on Global Warming.

New song:

Not the best quality video, but gives a pretty good idea of the song. Sounds awesome though! Some mental double bass bits....lovely.

New song: Vacuity

Pretty cool...quite a lot going on it!

Looking forward to seeing them support In Flames in a few weeks, if I get my arse in gear and buy some tickets.

I just saw the video for that song. I like Gojira a bit better now.

(There's tits in the vid!)

Very dark video. Yes there are tits, but not the sexy, happy kind...more the sad kind. The imagery of the coffin falling is immense.

Can't wait to get the new album!

Amazing video, one of the best I've seen in recent years.
