I kinda like RPG's, the only one I ever got into was the Fallout series and Crono Trigger on Snes. These new ones don't really grab my attention, they look ok...but it's just the same old shit over and over again, and stupid fat nerds get pulled into it.

The only new RPG I'm really looking forward to is the new Fallout which is coming to all next gen systems and of course PC. That series was at least fun and you could do whatever you wish...yes, even go on a killing rampage and kill women and children with a Vindicator making their bodies hard to recognize after the destruction you left in wake of you're path. World of Warcraft seems ok but it's just another reason for fat ass losers to waste their hard earned cash on a silly game which wont accomplish much in the future. Having said that, I'm sure not everyone is like that...but most of the people i[ve seen and heard about they do get quite addicted and take the game to seriously.

One of my mates plays it, but he restricts himself to 2 or 3 hours a night after he finishes Uni. He's doing his doctorate and is also teaching first year students, so he doesn't have much time to do anything.

Still, he said it is a fun game if you do pace yourself and don't get to addicted to it.

RPGs are great games when done well. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind with the expansions and select mods is damn well in the all-time Top 5 of any games for me Only rivaled by Fallout and Fallout 2.

Only if you forget the fact that it is. MMORPG is a subset of RPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game). Therefor you can conclude that, even though not every RPG is an MMORPG, every MMORPG is indeed an RPG. WoW has all the ingredients.
