The description has that number, and it speaks of a "wingless demon", where Choronzon is a demon, and apterous means wingless...

My guess the "5-character serial number" is F3H2M

So has anyone heard this? I can't help but be disappointed.

I think the album lacks originality (I keep finding passages that I've also heard on the two other albums I'm familiar with, being Words... and Choronzon).
The drum sound is just... Fucking Terrible. I have no other words for it. Utter shit. They seriously sound like pots and pans. Or even worse.
And it's so short! Only 41 minutes (not counting the bonus tracks which add 11 minutes but are kind of out-of place on a concept album like this.)!

All in all, it's nowhere near "Words..." and don't even thing it measures up to "Choronzon"

Maybe I just have to listen to it some more to get used to it.

hmmm...I think it's great. The sound may not be great but bad sound doesn't bother me too much anymore. The length is OK too. Still longer than other Albums that I love.
