Everyone has (or had) such good beards, but I the the gentleman with a person growing out of his beard is winning so far. That's a first. Faffy's bitch is second. Death Warmdover is in third for the dog/human beard combo. Really well done everybody! Keep 'em growing this way!

I used to have a pretty good beard, it got smaller and smaller over the years and now I actually just shaved it off completely 2 days ago. But here's what it used to look like

And here's me, my beard and someone you all might know

All of your beards put my attempt at some kind of beard to shame...

Damn it, I miss my beard now.

Problem is, when I have my beard I miss kissing my wife even more.

I read somewhere that anticipation of sex will actually cause a man's facial hair to grow faster. What do you guys think?

So that's why my beard growth has quickened in the last year or so. :P

I just think it's individual genetics, but it is an interesting theory.

Could be. Can't remember where I read it though. Every girl's crazy bout a full-bearded man?

Leonato: You may light on a husband that hath no beard.
Beatrice: What should I do with him? Dress him in my apparel and make him my waiting-gentlewoman? He that hath a beard is more than a youth, and he that hath no beard is less than a man: and he that is more than a youth is not for me, and he that is less than a man, I am not for him...

My granny always said, "Never trust a man with a beard!" Presumably there was a good reason for this but I don't know what it is.

I live by quite the opposite motto:

My wife's Grandpa used to say similar things. Something like "a man with a beard has something to hide, and can't be trusted."
