Guinness, Stella Artois, Alaskan Amber, Widmer Bros., Pyramid, Gordon Biersch. Corona with lime and Pete's Wicked Ale Strawberry Blonde are always good on a hot summer day. I'll pretty much try anything.

God, where to begin. My stepfather's a brewer so...

Take those and add anything by the Speakeasy Brewing company, Lagunitas, Stone Brewing company (Arrogant Bastard Ale, etc.), Rogue, Boondt Amber Ale, I mean I could go on.

I know three dudes who work at Anchor Steam so we get a lot of that for free (yay for free liberty ale)

I have a disturbingly strong love for Newcastle for whatever reason, and I'm constantly on the search for Pliny the Elder. On occasion I'll pick up a bottle of Duvel.

When my stepdad's brewing, his Skiptown IPA is effing delicious. When me and the roomies go down and turn up the hops and alcohol content, it's known as the "Dead as Fuck IPA"

And then there's the fact that I live with a band and we drink shitty all the time.

We're working on a prog epic devoted to:

Hopefully my pilot can get corporate sponsorship ;)

Unfortunately American mass produced I can barely keep down. My dad's a big Milwaukee's Best drinker... ughhhhhhhh. As for a craft beer I haven't really enjoyed, a local brewery here, Marble, which is usually incredibly good, brewed this cask-aged sour ale that I had to fight to drink the entire pint. Maybe it was to some other people's tastes but man, when they say sour they mean it. And when I'm sipping beer I don't particularly want it to taste sour  That being said, though, Marble brews about the best Amber I've ever had and they make an incredible Belgium-style Double White.

I love Pete's Wicked. When I want something a bit fruity and easy to drink I turn to that. I find I usually prefer dark beers like stouts or porters, but in the middle of the summer I'm all about the lighter stuff, blondes and ambers and such.

Pale Ale's I find I have to really be in the mood for to drink, as I'm more into malty then hoppy usually. Another local brewery here Il Vicino brewed a beer called Exodus Ale that was 100+ IBUs. Easily the most intense thing I've ever tasted, but oddly still good. Usually anything that bitter I can't do, but whatever hops they were using made it oddly smooth amongst being hoppe as shit lol.

...I hate you. Not really, but hey :D I was just getting into beer (at the ripe age of 18, because the US has beyond stupid drinking laws) when I visited Belgium so I didn't think to visit Westvelteren. I try to have few regrets in life but thats one of them. Gonna have to make a special trip sometime....

I too would love to homebrew. Maybe someday...

One of my friends homebrews, and often it's good stuff, about 5%. The only problem is sometimes it can taste a bit salty, so it depends when you drink it.

Bugger, I forgot Matilda Bay Brewing Co's Fat Yak.

My wife's fave beer and a fave of mine too. As you can tell, we're fond of pale ales.

Double-post and old revival but I'M SO TOTEZ EXCITED I DON'T EVEN CARE

That little beauty will soon be sitting in my new house and I absolutely cannot wait. Westvleteren XII has been widely considered one of the best, if not the best, strong (10.2%!) beers in the world for years now. The monks that brew it are really, really cagey about mass-producing it and they basically only brew enough beer to make enough money to run the monastery. They don't seem to give a flying fuck about profits, even though they could be making an absolute fortune! Usually you can only buy it directly from the monks themselves at the abbey or at a caf

My ex- put me onto this last time I was over. Find me a pub in London that serves this ambrosia in October...and a major diplomatic incident is just around the corner.

Staropramen is very common over here anyway, so I'd say there'll be no bother at all drinking it in England. Me and Geert were drinking it one night in the Rocket back in November so it shouldn't be that hard to sort you out!
