Today I just discovered that half of the albums I've downloaded from a torrent onto my computer are in joint stereo, which is a fancy term for mono. This isn't the fucking 1960s, when I download an album ilegally I EXPECT IT TO BE IN FUCKING STEREO.

As far as I know, "Joint Stereo" is only a compression technique. They shouldn't sound like mono...

im sure you love ranting about stuff and whatnot providing us with a fair amount of healthy entertainment, but you should learn about the things you yap about before going ape. it isnt "mono", grab an audio editor, open any mp3 file encoded in "joint stereo" mode, and do compare L with R, OR if youre gonna steal music then do it like a man, dont complain and shut the hell up
