Cool shot Lettuce!

Since I have one of my 'better' photos on here anyway, here's one of the not so good pics. Enjoy. (Sorry - two emoticons in one post!)

IS there a limit to how many emotes you can have in one post?

Otherwise I think I fucked that up with pretty every single post of mine ever. -is currently trying to resist thems-

And thats a interesting picture Stella - Should I ask why you are wearing a shower cap?

No I don't think there's a limit. I was looking back at the HevyDevy AllStars thread today and noticed that someone counted the amount of emoticons Yanko used in a single post. There were 30.

I was at a volcanic spa on the Italian island of Ischia, and they insisted on people wearing shower caps (which you had to pay for!) before they'd allow you into the thermal pools. I didn't mind, as you can see from the picture shower caps make very stylish headgear. I wear one everywhere now.

Ah, well that's alright then :D! As long as the smilie police :patrol: don't come after me, I shall continue to use emoticons, often irresponsibly. :chain: :dead:

Jeebz I thought I was bad! 30?! D:

Was it a long post? :P

And oooh that sounds nice. The closest I've been to a anything hotspringish, wasa giant geyer type thing in Lanzerote.

I'm sure being scolded by burning water travelling at high speeds isn't the same though :P

I think I have a new found respect for Yanko now. That was quite a feat - 30 emoticons in one poast. Wow.

Nice pic Stella - made me chuckle! Spa? Italian?! SWEEEEETT! The closest I've ever been to a spa was being accidentally locked in a jank sauna at the bottom of a Greek "cruise" ship. It wasn't very fun - and "cruise" ship is more of a euphemism for "floating piece of shit." Oh well :D

It was a lovely place...the only problem was that most of the other people there were over 80 and wandering round in bikinis (and that was just the men!). I still have nightmares. If ever there was an argument for euthanasia.....[Internal censor note: 'Hmm, do I put a smilie in there to indicate that my euthanasia comment was a joke, or do I leave it as is and hope that no one's offended. I'll leave it - it's 'edgy''].

Your cruise experience sounds like an interesting story! How did you get out of the hellish Greek sweat hole in the end?

I thought I'd post another picture of the spa....and since I'd photoshopped myself in it in an attempt to be arty, I'm technically fulfilling the terms of this thread too (like a good girl )!

 Gotta love elderly people, they just don't give a fuck anymore!

Well, I don't remember how, but I managed to get the sauna open... but then the elevator that took me and my friend down there seemed to have stopped working temporarily. We were stuck down there about 7 minutes before the elevator finally came down. Never visited the basement level ever again :D

I've seen movies where people got locked up in saunas... They didn't seem to mind ;)

Sounds like a great trip - the only element of a disaster movie that it didn't include was the ship sinking....or did that happen too? :) Remind me to never cruise Greek. I seem to remember that the Italian catamaran we took over to Ischia.....well....terrified me to my very core. There were actually people praying (usually just before they staggered to the loo to throw up). Even before we got on it we noticed that there were several dents in it, which spoke of careless 'driving'. I needed the spa after that trip!

What movies were they?
